Your data stays on your device
Chamar no Zap does not have its own servers. All the logic for number formatting, country selection, and opening WhatsApp happens 100% locally on your device. No phone number entered is sent to us or to third parties (except to WhatsApp when you start the conversation).
Data collected
We do not collect data directly. The app has no servers or database. We use Google Analytics for Firebase to receive anonymous usage statistics about the app:
None of the above data contains personally identifiable information (PII). The app does not collect phone numbers entered, messages, GPS location, contacts, or any other sensitive data.
What we do not collect
For full transparency, we explicitly list what is never collected or accessed:
- Phone numbers entered in the app
- Device contact list
- Geographic location (GPS)
- WhatsApp conversation history
- Photos, camera or microphone
- Name, email, or any personal registration
- Biometric or health data
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics for Firebase in the app and Google Analytics on this website to collect anonymous usage statistics. This data helps us understand which features are most used and prioritize improvements.
Anonymous and aggregated data
Google Analytics collects data anonymously. The IP address is truncated before storage. No data can individually identify a user.
What Google Analytics may collect:
- App usage events (e.g., app open, button clicks)
- Device type and operating system (e.g., Android 13)
- Country/region of access (based on anonymized IP)
- Language configured on the device
- Installed version of the app

Advertising (Google AdMob)
Chamar no Zap displays ads provided by Google AdMob. Ads are what allow us to keep the app free for all users.
Ads without personal data
AdMob may use anonymous device identifiers for basic personalization, but does not collect personal data such as name, email, or precise location.
What Google AdMob may collect:
- App Instance ID — not linked to personal identity
- Device type and operating system version
- Approximate country/region (based on anonymized IP)
- Ad interactions (impressions and clicks)

App permissions
Chamar no Zap requests the minimum permissions necessary to function. See the technical justification for each one:
Android
No invasive permissions
The app does not request access to the camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, bluetooth, push notifications or any other sensitive device resource.
Third-party services
The app uses the following third-party services:
When you tap "Message on WhatsApp", the app opens WhatsApp directly via an internal link (whatsapp://send?phone=). This redirect happens locally on the device, without passing through any external server.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the app or legal requirements. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always indicates the most recent version. We recommend revisiting this page periodically.
